A special area of the hospital that engages in the care of high-priority sick babies and premature babies afflicted with conditions that require intensive management using advanced equipment recommended for such complex care. The NICU has trained healthcare professionals who aspire for rendering specialized nursing care and high quality medical care for the tiniest patients born inside and out of the hospital. The team works together with the parents for the plan of care of the high risk babies.
